About Uppingham Stone

Uppingham Stone is a family business based in Rutland.
 

Our company specialises in making bespoke, unique, limestone fireplaces by hand. It also supplies and fits log burning stoves using expert, Hetas-qualified fitters.
 

It was set up by Sherman Finnemore a decade ago. Sherman grew up around stone and joined the family business aged 18. After 16 years, in 2013, he decided to branch out to form his own specialist company, Uppingham Stone.

In 2018 Uppingham Stone became HETAS registered and qualified stove and chimney installers. To be able to provide a full service and complete the package we recently qualified to be able to sweep chimneys.
